1. Support for Earthquake-Affected Communities– One Team TOYOTA

On March 28th, 2025, a devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Mandalay Region and Sagaing Region, resulting in widespread destruction. Many buildings were severely damaged, and tragically, numerous lives were lost. Survivors and the injured required immediate emergency relief and long-term recovery support.

In response, members of the Toyota in Myanmar came together under the One Team TOYOTA initiative. Team Toyota quickly initiated plans to provide aid, including monetary donations, essential goods, and volunteer assistance to those affected in the disaster areas. As part of a unified effort, we have collectively pledged a contribution of MMK 170 million (Kyat 1,700 lakhs) to support rehabilitation and reconstruction activities in the affected areas. Team Toyota also extended its support to Toyota dealers in the impacted regions, helping them recover through both financial assistance and the provision of goods.

This initiative reflects Toyota’s unwavering commitment to the communities we serve. Together, we remain determined to stand with the people of Myanmar during this difficult time and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s recovery.
